Smoothie recipe

Take 4. We just keep tinkering with the smoothie recipes, trying to find new ways to squeeze more veggies into our diets. This one isn’t bad, and I can’t taste the beets at all (thank goodness), thanks to the mountain of fruits!

  • 1/2 beet (roasted is best)
  • spinach, kale and chard (one handful of the packaged Kroger mix)
  • 1/4 honeydew melon
  • 1 cup V8 low sodium
  • 5 large strawberries
  • 8 blueberries
  • 1 tbsp vanilla low-fat yogurt
  • 1/2 banana
