Support our troops

I know right now all our energies are being focused on hurricane victims, but we need support those supporting us at home and abroad. I’d like to encourage everyone to check out GI Bracelets where you can buy a purple bracelet and all the proceeds go to the veterans charity of your choice. Also, if you’ve got the time, go to Soldier’s Angels and learn about how you can help from here at home. Even if it’s just a letter or care package, it matters.

And don’t forget, AmericaSupportsYou.mil to find more ways to help.

Thanks.

A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks.
