I am so glad that Chris Horton over at Social Media Today wrote this. I have run into this too many times to count. In fact the only way I’ve been able to convince muckety-mucks that social media is the way to go after hearing them bring up things Chris mentions like inability to prove ROI or lack of skill set among employees is to counter their fear with different fears. I usually turn the tide by letting them know that the conversations are happening with or without us on social media and wouldn’t we rather be involved?
